Fire resistant / watertight - Andromède

This type of door is intended to nuclear, petrochemical and construction industries. These doors are installed in Flamanville 3, Olkiluoto 3 and Taishan EPR NPPs.

• Steel sheet both sides, with coating finish, 1 leaf or 2 leaves or 2 leaves + transom,assembled by welding

• The frame is composed of different sizes angle brackets in painted steel, fittedwith connectors for sealing into concrete

• The frame can be shared with watertight doors, which allows the interchangeability of doors

• Opening by adjustable hinges (2 to 4 per leaf, according to the dimension)

• Water and airtight gasket in cellular EPDM and intumescent gasket for fire resistance

• Pressure rated (air and/or water) both sides

• Embedding of the frame in the 1st or 2nd phase of concreting by leaving a recess of 200 x 200 mm at the rim‍

• Possibility to weld the frame on pre-sealed anchor plates or peg into concrete

• Manual lever lock (2 to 4 per leaf, according to dimension)

• Removable central mullion for double leaves door

• Finition: galvanization Z600 / 3 layers of decontaminable painting

• Decompression cup

• Oculus (up to 1,5 m water column)

• Lock with panic function / electromechanical lock for access control
